Late Night’ host Seth Meyers devotes his witty ‘Couple Things’ segment to Rudy Guiliani’s rant against President Obama, and even reaches out to Scott Walker too. Seth actually has Five Things to say, and anyone who thinks the President doesn’t love America or Rudy – who claims to feel unloved by the POTUS, needs to listen. Everyone else, will enjoy the giggles.
You can’t argue with Seth’s reasoning. Obama has a “terrible, stressful non-stop job.” Can you imagine how much worse it would be – if he didn’t love it? Meyers compares Obama’s job to being a single mother.. You love your kids, but – as Seth points out, “At best – they love you maybe 48% of the time.” They’re always getting into trouble, and for your love, worry and hard work, how are you rewarded? Seth knows. ” They’re always running to their room, slamming the door and yelling – ‘You’re not my founding father!'”
And now – little Rudy is yelling – within earshot of all the neighbors, that Obama doesn’t love America, and he doesn’t love Rudy!
As Seth Meyers wryly observes, “He’s half right.”
