It’s telling that racism, xenophobia and misogyny didn’t deter GOP leaders, but Trump’s refusal to endorse Paul Ryan and John McCain is ‘the last straw’ for them. The man who insulted the Khan family, then got a Purple Heart of his very own from ‘a guy’ – is expected to act rationally. Mike Huckabee claims he will be fine in office, surrounded by a lot of other people who’ll probably close his Twitter account. This, Seth observes, is a move that didn’t even work with Justin Bieber. Newt Gingrich compares Trump to football great Joe Montana who came back from a slump. Newt’s been selling us a lot of fertilizer over the years, but this has to stick in even his throat!
