Though I do not know who Shannon Sharpe is, I still can’t stop laughing. This one sketch may put this cast member, Jay Pharoah, on the road to quitting SNL to making bad movies! But I guess bad movies pay a lot more than Saturday Night Live pays. Okay, Okay there are three exceptions. Chevy Chase, John Candy and Kristen Wiig.
I think this sketch gets me going because though I am a moderate sports fan and a big big fan of the Green Bay Packers, I find the announcer babble and hype way over the top in lieu of it all being about grown men chasing balls around. Okay, Okay, a puck isn’t a ball. Gee… That’s another thing I can’t stand, nano-nitting nit pickers. Why can’t we all just work from generalized subjective opinions? After all, facts don’t matter to Republicans, it’s all about their guts. Which are objectively full of sht.
