A fly on the wall in the writers room would have heard the argument about taking this out of Alabama with Southern accents and putting it New Jersey with Brooklyn accents to improve SNL ratings. The same can be said in how they add Debbie Wasserman Schultz to most any stab at Fox News.
Heard the Late Show with Stephen Colbert has sunk to the bottom because Republicans have turned it off in droves. And here I thought Colbert was doing just what SNL is doing now, moving to the middle to gain share. But for Republicans, all the middle is is socialism rather than communism.

What surprised me the most is that 15% to 30% of viewers of the late night shows are atheists. That is about ten times the general population. Christians and I have at least one thing in common, we are both in bed by nine o’clock.
