What is not so funny is this rendition of Jesus is pretty much how the American brand of Christianity sees him. As a big BIG supporter of the NRA, the Castle Doctrine, Stand your Ground laws, revenge, selfishness, bigotry, greed and of course helping us push the buttons in our execution chambers.
This is my top personal gripe with American politics. That Republicans have corrupted, bastardized and destroyed the very essence of what Jesus Christ stood for. It is so beyond disgusting that… Hmmm… Jesus should come back with an assault rifle and kill the bastards who did this to him!

God sent his only begotten Son down to Earth to be sacrificed for the… I always have trouble with this part.. Sacrificed to forgive all past, present and future wrong doings, so no one will ever die and all go to Heaven.
Boy is that a deal in the WHATS IN IT FOR ME department. Someone else suffers and dies so I don’t have to, and I get to not only live forever, but get a free ticket to Heaven.

But you brought Quetzalcoatl into the conversation. He demaded human sacrifice of his believers. Jesus never did & YHWH only pushed one guy to the point where he’d do it as a result of a direct command.
You’ve got it backward though. Christianity has but two ultimate rules: 1. Love God. 2. Serve your Neighbor.
The last one is no problem… Which God to love is a problem though. Your info of Quetzalcoatl is well taken, what an asshole. So that’s two assholes. I have to keep searching.

But I do see your point. God required human sacrifice too. In fact the Man’s son if I recall. But at the last second he popped up and to say JUST KIDDING! He is such a joker that God. Did God appear in that one? Or did he send some kind of ghost like messenger? Or did he just yell real load? Did anyone but that father hear him? What if God had to take a crap just then?
Both parties have demonized Jesus. Many of the Christian Republicans and even some Christian Democrats have MANY issues with what non-Christians have made out of true Christ Followers. The ones who demonize Jesus have NO IDEA who He really is. One day everyone will know without a doubt when we ALL bow before Him.
No no no… We will not ALL bow before Him. It is Quetzalcoatl who will we ALL bow before. For he is the true one and only God. The one and only greatest God of this continent. Which we all know is The Truth. And The Word.
