Even though much like demography giving Democrats an ever growing advantage in presidential elections, so too state wide Senatorial elections as well. So fear of the shoe on the other foot is rather moot giving Democrats real reason to change the rules. But what is to keep the Republicans from filibustering the filibuster rule? I doubt this can get anywhere. Also keep in mind that the GOP in the House has the advantage with their Super Majority rule for any law that has money involved.
