I would first like to take issue with the writers at the Colbert Report from missing the standard retort to that wingnut news anchor throwing the infamous Karl Marx quote at Senator Biden who so rightly asked if she was joking.

Secondly, I was late to the gate in understanding why the term “Spreading the Wealth Around” gained such long legs to become the last Hurrah of the McCain campaign. The term defines taxation, which all political systems must use to survive more than a few weeks, so WTF is this about then, it makes no sense?
To those humming the refrain “Wealth” means white people’s money and “spreading around” means giving it to lazy Negroes. When this came to me the other day and I mentioned my insight to friends and family all I got was a blank stare and a drawn out “Well duhhhhhhhhhh…. ”
So my question is, if everyone knows that, why can’t the media say so? I know the answer to that! Unlike Blogs and talk radio, the mainstream media cannot assume what someone may think, or in fact what they know everyone thinks. That is subjective and not allowed.
