Well hold it. If there are already 200 Holy Grails floating around Europe and they just found another one in Spain, then the one Stephen Colbert has found would be the 202nd not the 201st.
I guess it is fitting for American Christianity that Jesus was drinking his wine out of a solid gold jewel infested goblet with his wealthy pals the night before he was executed. Though I would think someone would have thought to sell it for some cash to hire a lawyer rather than doing the dumb than defending oneself in a capital case. But then what if he had not been executed? Perhaps that’s why today’s Christians are the ones who like executions the most. For I can’t think of any other reason why a religion founded and based upon a horrifying execution would promote executions.
