BTW, living down in Dumbutt now for over half my life I have learned more than I ever wanted to know about the Confederacy. Confederate Stonewall Jackson paid the ultimate price in battle for sedition and treason while promoting slavery and racism. That makes him a typical Southern hero. But let’s be clear that it was Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest who gets the most accolades from the Right-wing Christian wing of the Southern GOP. Bedford was the first and most famous Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. God, Race, Country… Does the Klan have that in the right order?
