So why did Colbert invite one of the most intolerant Right-wing Christian airheads in America to the show? The answer is that Colbert had his Nation go to Conservapedia and add their input to the wiki-public dialogue. Which Andy immediately, fairly, and democratically DELETED! Colbert wanted a piece of him for that.
And why did Andy accept the invitation knowing he was going to be jacked around by an expert? That too is easy enough, his appearance will generate traffic, make him money, help him deny women and gays their human rights, help keep evolution out of public schools and if new people write things he doesn’t like he can just delete it.
