Tennessee Health care lottery? Wow. This is really depressing. My God, every civilized nation on Earth regards health care as a RIGHT except us. The US Constitution begins with the word LIFE, then comes liberty and pursuit of happiness. One would think religion would enter into this crap that the haves get the good health care and the have-nots get crap. But no, they are too busy screaming at women, denying gays equal rights and shilling for the NRA. I mean who did Jesus stand up for? Oh yeah, the NRA, Bankers, Wall Street, executions, bigotry ect… The apple does not fall far from the tree.
The answer is so easy. It not only solves the health care issue but the debt and the deficit.
Do what most of the rest of the civilized world does. Relieve employers from paying for heath care, have them pay their employees the difference, apply that difference to a payroll tax to non profit private insurers. Everyone is covered, it is not socialism because it is run by private insurers, we get better outcomes for less money and beat the debt and the deficit.
The question should be asked constantly. Do you believe health care should be dispensed upon who has the most money and the best jobs, or should everyone get equal health care treatment? Should an old white rich man get better health care than a poor black child? And when they say YES, tuck your index finger under your thumb and give them a good strong snap in the piggy snout.
