Political merchandising aside, this bumper sticker is the best example of what is wrong with our political system, a two year long two billion dollar election. Reduce the election cycle to 90 days – which is longer than most nations – and how much can they spend in 12 weeks rather 100 weeks?
Of course the best idea is to take all paid political ads off TV forever which is where 90% of the money is spent. Network and local TV will be all for that doanyaknow. Hey I have an idea that could at least keep the clowns out. Why not just declare that all political election money be spent only in August, September and October on cigars and backroom Bourbon.
