If we must speak of the Government Shutdown – again, let’s make fun of the zany politicians who are keeping it going, by pairing them with their cartoon doppelgangers.
Rand Paul is a ringer for Lumiere from ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ when you see why, I think you’ll agree! John Boehner looks – and acts like that warden from ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ much more than the John Wayne image he believes he inspires, and Ted Cruz may not look like Tom Cruise…But does share other characteristics with the sofa jumping maniac. Jackie also pairs Newt Gingrich and Dwight Schrute (from The Office)- you can’t help but see the resemblance, and Vice President Biden and Bob Barker share some sparkle. This was much more fun to talk about than the usual Shutdown Blues!
