There is something familiar with this Tea Party business… Right-wing spikes. Like the 1990s rise of the Gingrich Revolution, or Jerry Falwell’s Moral Majority that rose along with Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. Or further back with the ascendance of the John Birch Society in the 1950’s. Or even further back to the 1920s when the Klan had millions rallying across middle America.
