What we have here is a warning that the Tea Party can win state wide elections in the Confederate States. The Arizona Territory was Confederate and Kentucky (Rand Paul) was sorely divided on the issue. It also bodes poorly for a few Western States where no one lives.
Though Tea Party Ted Cruz won a strong victory here in Texas, he won with only 6% of the people of Texas voting for him. But like most of the rest of the Confederate States, that is a Senate Seat win because Democrats have no chance at all. So for the near future there will be more of these destroy the American Government bozos fouling out Congress. On the bright side, and what could very well be the end of the conservative hegemony of American politics, they insure a Democrat in the White House for the foreseeable future.
