Tea Twit Michele Bachmann: lauds New Hampshire conservatives with history of Massachusetts

New Hampshire will host the first primary of 2012, which explains the urgency of Michele Bachmann to get there and score brownie points. Instead of gold stars,Bachmann scored an "F" in history. Speaking to the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire, Bachmann schmoozed conservative residents – with remarks concerning the patriotic history – of Massachusetts. Shhh! Don’t confuse her with the facts, she appears to be on a roll.

"You’re the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord. And you put a marker in the ground and paid with the blood of your ancestors the very first price that had to be paid to make this the most magnificent nation that has ever arisen in the annals of man in 5,000 years of recorded history." Bachmann continued, telling NH residents that they "have a responsibility to keep liberty alive as they have done very well for almost 20 generations from the time the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, and I’m sure the very first one came up to New Hampshire and said, "This is where I want to be."

I have to defer to Rack on this. What is It that can make someone with an undergraduate degree, a Law degree and the ability to get elected the the US Congress, so vilely stupid?
