Ted Cruz – the Harvard educated lawyer and Tea Party genius – not only plays to the ignorance of his base, with the anecdotal crap that if it’s cold where he is today then global warming is an Al Gore joke. But he also goes further to say climate change is a lie and there is no data to prove there is any warming at all. This suggests the old quote of mine was spot on.

So I ask you. Is Ted Cruz that intrinsically stupid? Is he fouled by his father and Genesis creationism? Or is he truly a Joe McCarthy clone who is playing on the ignorance and fears of his Tea Party base to gather attention and personal power only to glorify Ted Cruz? Hell, he even has his very own disgusting Roy Cohn mentor to help him along with his bigot father Rapael Cruz.

Ted Cruz farts do not stop just with the Global Warming Hoax, Just the other day he declared that the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution is not only unconstitutional but “heartbreaking” so.

“They want to use brute power to force the states to take down marriage laws that have been in place for centuries, and that’s inconsistent with the Constitution, And it’s not right, and it’s heartbreaking. Because you and I both know that the best environment for children to be raised is a loving home with a mother and father. I think the most important thing your listeners can do is simply pray. Because we need a great deal of prayer. Because marriage is really, really being undermined by a concerted effort. And it’s causing significant harm.”

These Ted Cruz farts are arrived at by a “study” from a 2012 evangelical Christian Dr. Mark Regnerus, a sociologist at the University of Texas who was paid $800,000 by the Heritage Foundation to arrive at the conclusion they asked him to arrive at. All sociologists weighing in on this “study” found it absurd for many reasons, but primarily because Regnerus compared heterosexual married parents to single gay parents.  Kids of gay parents fare worse, study finds, but research draws fire from experts

This Regnerus “study” is presently in the news because it is being used in a Detroit court case to argue against repealing Michigan’s Defense of Marriage amendment.

Oh, a reminder of what the constitution actually says…

14th Amendment Section 1 – No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

How heartbreaking…
