They can blame earthquakes and hurricanes on God’s vengeance for homosexuality and abortions, but for some reason tornadoes and floods in Texas and Oklahoma are because um, ah, hmm, can’t be climate change which they deny, so that does seem to leave only some black guy or another. Not really sure if it was Obama or Al Sharpton though.
The Fingers of God and Noah aside, God cannot be responsible for any of this kind of carnage, I know because for 35 years I have been watching local news stories of Texans standing in front of a pile of rubble that was once their home thanking God and Praising the Lord for sparring them any further pain. The often go on blessing God even explaining how their insurance recently ran out, how they have nothing at all anymore, that they even lost the dogs and cousin Jimbob who is still missing, but may be still be down at the titty bar sitting things out.
You know I have GOOGLE NEWS set to include ATHEISM and RELIGION so I see lots of headlines every morning about both. The religious side is saying that our growing population of Nones, agnostics and atheists is only a flash in the pan, people jumping on a bandwagon to be being popular on social media, that non belief is about prejudice, intolerance, hatred and irrationality.
No it isn’t. The move away from religion is because it just makes no sense when one takes the time to actually think about it for a minute or two.
