The news this morning is the Tea Party win in Virginia knocking off Eric Cantor, but over the weekend the Tea Party down here in Dumbutt did even better at the Republican Texas Convention.
Ted Cruz won 46% of the vote with his closest rival Ben Carson with 11%. Ted Cruz is busy working up the articles of impeachment against Barack Obama for when the GOP takes the Senate in November. They will be submitted, COUNT ON IT.
Not only did the GOP change the Republican Texas platform to round up millions of Hispanic families to be put in concentration camps to await deportation, but they also passed the REPARATIVE THERAPY platform to give gay men and women a punch in the nose too. Here is the wording:
“Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples. We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin.
We recognize the legitimacy and value of counseling which offers reparative therapy and treatment to patients who are seeking escape from the homosexual lifestyle. No laws or executive orders shall be imposed to limit or restrict access to this type of therapy.”
