It’s not just the glee in so proudly leading the nation and most of the civilized world in executions, or trying to send women to suicide and illegal abortions, or even arguing what a wonderful thing it was to drop TWO atomic bombs on an already cadaverous Japan, but doing all that death dealing with the full support of Jesus Christ that gets my goat. A religion based upon the horror of execution being the primary voice for execution. This kind of craphinking seems to permeate American Christianity. I suppose I should not single out Christianity for this same craphinking encompasses all religion.
Whenever we come across, or hear, or see a nitwit saying ugly stupid things, it always seems to be an Evangelical Christian. Or a Mullah. Or a Terrorist. Religion is the new stupid.
