Former Republican House Whip and bad Dancer Tom DeLay was sentenced today to 3 years in prison and 10 years probation for money laundering and conspiracy to channel corporate contributions to Texas state races in 2002.
"I cannot be remorseful for something I didn’t think I did." Delay told the Judge Pat Priest claiming he was a victim of political payback.
"Before there were Republicans and Democrats, there was America, and what America is about is the rule of law." Judge Pat Priest said before pronouncing the sentence.
DeLay posted $10,000 bond and was released pending appeal and will probably evade the big house for quite some time. Now as a convicted felon, not being a lawyer or a doctor, DeLay can proceed with his pre political career spraying homes for cockroaches. DeLay Sentenced to 3 years in prison
