Texas Republicans cannot help themselves from handing Texas over to Democrats by 2012

Percentage of Hispanic population by state:

New Mexico 45%
California 37%
Texas 36%
Arizona 30%

New Mexico is solidly held by Democrats. California learned it’s lesson in 1994 when it passed Proposition 187 which refused all state health care, education and social services to illegal immigrants. Though later struck down by the courts, it was the impetus for Republicans unable to win any statewide election or win a vote for a Republican President in 17 years. With of course the exception of moderate environmentalist Republican and Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arizona – home of America’s favorite fascist Sheriff Joe Arpaio – just the other day had the courts throw out their recent legislation denying gays and lesbians state benefits. Arizona is a bit like Idaho in that they are honorary members of the old Confederate states. Though Idaho gets little attention as Hispanics and Blacks skedaddled out of their long ago. African Americans know damn well that Idaho is the home of the Aryan Nations, Ruby Ridge and where Mark Furman lords over a community filled with all the cops in America who have been fired for racism.

Hispanics have now taken the hint and are leaving Arizona in mass, which of course is the whole purpose of all this xenophobia. Though I doubt Republicans had planned for the drop in their economy by 30%. Ethnic cleansing isn’t free, but it is WELL WORTH the satisfaction it Republicans enjoy from it.

What happened to so suddenly move the national polls from 2% importance to 10% on this issue? A heavily armed white rancher named Bob Krentz was killed by a SUSPECTED illegal alien just where the graph begins to jump.  A White man was done in by a non White man.

Today the investigation centers upon the perpetrator being on the US side of the border and that it was a planned hit because Krentz family members had the day before reported cartel pot smugglers on their property. Tony Soprano was unavailable being in reruns and all.

So it is only logical to declare war on lettuce pickers, maids, roofers, meat packers, busboys, lawnboys and more importantly, the entire Hispanic community in the state of Arizona. Reminiscent as it is of Arch Duke Ferdinand in Sarajevo just short of a hundred years ago. Authorities say the slaying that sparked outcry over border security was not random Focus in Krentz killing on suspect in US

Here in Texas – though we lean in support of SB1070 – even our nitwit secessionist Governor Rick Perry knows that if the GOP goes too far down this track their present lock on political control of Texas may go up for grabs.

The Texas State Legislature meets only every two years and then just for a few months. Census redistricting, school funding, and fighting the EPA to keep our air and water as dirty as we like it are big issues down here in Dumbutt, but state Republicans have been steaming for a year now to bring their whip on down upon Hispanics who make up 36% of the population which is growing by 10% a year as the white population shrinks. Thinking past profit margins for the next quarter is not in the GOP handbook.

These Republicans who control all statewide politics in Texas fully intend to submit and pass a Texas bill no different than Arizona’s SB1070. A few Republicans with cooler heads are well aware that will be the beginning of the end for the GOP Texas Hegemony, perhaps even as soon as 2012.

Collecting bounties on wolves, coyotes, Comanches, Apaches, Mexicans and runaway Negroes is not only a Texas tradition, but at the top of our Texas Christian Family values, we are incapable of holding back down here, it is our nature, it is what the guns are for. Despite budget shortfall, the real battle in Austin likely will be over Arizona-style bill
