The Texas State Board of Education committee has 15 members, 10 Republicans and 5 Democrats. They are often elected in state elections seldom in November. Each member represents many Texas counties – think 15 divided by all Texas Counties.
Seven of the Republicans are on the board only to push their extreme right-wing evangelical fundamentalist anti-science crazyass bullcrap on all Texas children. There is one crazyass Hispanic Catholic Democrat who sides with them which gives them the power to put their insane crap into Texas text books and into the Texas public school curriculum.

Leading the pack is board member Cynthia Dunbar, who seems to have been cloned from Katherine Harris’ and Phyllis Schlafly’s anual warts. Am I clear on this?

These aren’t the beliefs of just any right-wing Christian zealot – no offense to the right wing or to Christians in general – but one who was elected by Texas voters to help shape the curriculum for all of Texas’ 4.5 million public schoolchildren.
Does it get any worse than that? And most people down here in Dumbutt, Texas think she’s swell.

Hillbillies are all fine and well, I like Hillbillies, they are fun to get drunk and go critter hunting with, but they should not ever be allowed to make decisions for anyone out of hearing range of their trailers. And especially kept away from any children who they have not personally conceived by coupling with their cousins, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers… Oh and grandmothers… Am I clear on this?
