A Clear Creek ISD teacher has been placed on administrative leave after being accused of making insensitive comments to a Muslim student about the death of Osama bin Laden.
The Clear Brook High School teacher is accused of profiling a student in his ninth-grade algebra class Monday by telling the girl, "I bet that you’re grieving."
Late Tuesday, the district confirmed the incident, which remains under investigation.
I mention this for two reasons (other than it being just down the road.)
First of all – though the teacher involved has been suspended but not named, I am going out on a limb [as big around as Rush Limbaugh’s butt] to say he (she) is an Evangelical Christian. The math also works as who is not an Evangelical Christian down here in Dumbutt? Causing hurt, pain and misery to young girls, and of course driving gay teens of both sexes to suicide is what Evangelical Christianity has come to be most about here in America.
And secondly, I do so because even it it were known they wouldn’t tell you.
Evangelical Christians can say, or do and or be whatever horrid things they please, and they go to Heaven no matter so long as they believe Jesus is God. Everyone else, all 5 billion of them suffer eternal pain and damnation in Hell. Wasn’t it Martin Luther who came up with that vile swill? Germany sure has given us some boneheads hey…
