The problem with this cartoon is it will not be some old spinster teacher running around our schools with guns. It will be the likes of Rutgers Basketball coach Mike Rice. It will be NRA trained and brained gun enthusiasts LOOKING FOR TROUBLE. It will be a Robert Zimmerman in every school in America. It is insane. It is also a bait and switch game by the NRA and its cadre of gun enthusiasts. Schools are the emotional issue not the real issue. They make up for about 1% of gun deaths.
Another thing the media misses is shootings rather than killings. 275 people are shot in the United States EVERY DAY! EVERY DAY! Gosh… And the answer? To fill all our schools with Coach Mike Rice and vigilante numbnut Robert Zimmerman. WITH ASSAULT RIFLES! And it isn’t The Onion!
