Who’d have guessed that washing clothes, dishes and (gag me) toilets weren’t just relaxing hobbies that she especially enjoyed?! Now I had school, a job and those puzzling new ‘hobbies’ to replace my previous days of heady leisure. By the time I figured it all out, she’d turned my room into a sewing room and changed the locks.
