Funny or Die knows that in a year when Donald Trump made many promises and gaffes, and made an ass of himself several times a day, one promise stands out among them all- his vow to build a ‘big beautiful wall’ between the US and Mexico. Trump added a flourish when he vowed to charge Mexico for the construction. This is nothing new. Trump is known for hiring workers and neglecting to pay them.
Perhaps we remember this promise because it was one of the first audacious one of his campaign. Maybe we recall because Trump and other wild-eyed Republicans alerted us to the flood of mother stabbers, father rapers and tax evaders pouring over the border! Trump supporters will line up, cash in hand to see Trump – as himself, Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani as whomever or whatever he tells them to play.
Oh! I forgot to add co-star Danny Trejo. You’ll have seen the Hispanic star in various films as a bad-ass, movie tough-guy and knife expert. I’m certain he’s just in the film to play a foreman or something. Those thousands of wall builders will be needing some direction after all.
Word just in that Trump plans to implement ‘extreme vetting’ for immigrants. Let’s see how this ‘building scene’ with Danny Trejo turns out first, shall we?
