Just now watched Tom Brokaw on Morning Joe cry about how divided we are giving us no solution. Tom spent the Summer “out West” and told his stories about the people of Wyoming and Montana [it is no longer Mississippi or Oklahoma which are the most solid red states but Wyoming and Idaho.]
He said some people recognized him and refused to talk to him, while many more did tell him HE was the real problem with America not Trump. Most all he talked to were not on his side but on TRUMP’S SIDE no matter what Trump says or does. Which is the very definition of CULT. All our problems come from people totally unlike them in their fancy suits and ties telling them not only the facts the do not want to hear, but worse, lecturing them on what is right and wrong. The Media is their enemy in all things.
What can be done? Perhaps dressing down TV NEWS to coveralls, baseball caps and camo? But wait, Donald Trump always wears an expensive suit and tie as do all the Fox News men. Well there are quite a few there who wear leggy dresses. Maybe all the men should wear leggy dresses too.
They also complain The Media does not address their problems. There is just not enough reporting on Friday night football, feed store prices, Walmart parking lots, Carl Jr’s, hay and how best to get the manure off the boots.
They also brag that they read no media newspapers, no books, watch any cable channels other than FOX and listen to nothing other than Right-wing radio. It’s what they are most proud of. Being ignorant and not knowing a fucking thing outside their manure filled bubble.
So suits and ties are not it. The only success Donald Trump has had is winning the electoral college and making The Media [reality] the enemy of ignorant white people.
You know the answer Tom Brokaw is quietly presenting? Everyone smarter than a Palin has to reach out to them and put ourselves in their smelly shoes. Just as they do so well with putting themselves in the shoes of African Americans, Muslims, Mexicans, DACA, immigrants and the gay or transgender.
So how to bring us together when the majority of Republican voters are ignorant White people with a racist ax to grind AND the votes to primary any moderate Republican out of the game?
Seems there are only two options:
- Educate the ignorance out of them. But the problem there is that these people hate college professors even more than they do The Media. They do not want their children learning dat dare LIBERAL ARTS crap and coming to realize their parents are bigoted nitwits and move away.
- Mortal attrition. The problem there is Hyzaar, Plavix and Crestor making it too long a wait.

- Vermont 96.2%
- Maine 95.5%
- New Hampshire 95.0%
- West Virginia 94.3%
- Iowa 92.9%
- Idaho 92.1%
- Wyoming 91.6%
- Minnesota 90.94%
- North Dakota 90.9%
What’s going on there? The least black people are in liberal New England and Minnesota? But boy the rest sure follow the all red politics. I guess Black people hate the cold more than Republicans. Alaska is not on the list because of so many Eskimos.
