Donald Trump appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show Wednesday night, and said he would debate Bernie Sanders to raise money for charity. As you probably know, Trump waffled, then decidedly chickened out despite some very attractive offers. Boxing promoter Bob Arum offered $20 Million to charity, and a subsequent offer from Cenk Uger came in for $1 Million, also allocated to charity. Arum said he would hire someone like Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney or Ted Cruz to moderate the event, implying media moderators were not an option.
You may have seen the film of Donald Trump slowed to half speed. By a similar magic process, Bernie Sanders’ film was was sped up, enabling the two to have a brief but powerful debate. Enjoy it now because it’s likely to be the only debate you’ll ever see Donald Trump engaging in with Bernie Sanders – if he can help it.
