The herd is spooked,and the number of individuals, organizations, politicians and charities who are stampeding to escape Donald Trump is quickly growing. Keith Olbermann sounds like an auctioneer as he reads off even a partial list of the departed, many of whom could not support Trump’s alignment with white supremacists. Trump, whose reaction to John McCain’s tragic disease was callous,is not without deep feelings. Trump mourns the loss of his Mar-a-Lago income intensely. Of twenty charities which held lucrative gala events at Mar-a-Lago, only half a dozen remain at this writing.
Trump still enjoys the support of some delusional Republican voters..And this is truly frightening. Fifty two percent of Republicans polled, said that they’d be fine with postponing the 2020 election, ‘if Trump said he could not guarantee that only Americans would be voting in the election.’ Indeed, it would be terrible if another country somehow influenced our election. You can’t fix stupid, it’s true…But you can always spot it when irony whizzes past unnoticed.
