I am hard pressed to find anywhere that we can get the truth about the outcome of the coming election as all information about it comes from those who benefit from it being the horse race it isn’t. The pollsters that present it as closest get the most air time while raking in billions, the media gains share, the Republicans have to make a show of it and Democrats want to get out the vote.
The Trump fans are the same 30% of Americans who have always been there, they are just louder and more visible this time round. How many uneducated angry white men are there? Less than yesterday. Barry Goldwater lost in a blowout to LBJ primarily because most people were afraid of him having access to The Button. Same applies now but even more so. Donald Trump is a fascist buffoon, the Benito Mussolini of our time, and even in this the most dumbass right-wing industrialized nation on Earth, he can’t be elected president of the United States.
But what about Benghazi and the Email? To find out what is right or wrong or important or not, take whatever peccadillo it may be on your side, and shove it on whoever you dislike the most on the other side, and see if you care. It it were Dick Cheney’s Benghazi and email, I still could of cared less.
But what about the polls? Hello? Hillary’s poll numbers are presently split by almost half by Bernie Sanders.
But the real kicker is going to be that first Clinton / Trump debate. Whatever network gets that baby is in the money.
