What happened? It was embarrassing. By the end of it even I thought Mitt would be a better president. Chris Matthews said it well when it was over, anyone at MSNBC could have done a better job. Hell, I could have done better.
Sure fact checkers are going to rail on Mitt, but that isn’t the game, the Romney campaign is proud and loud about their believe that facts don’t matter. And sure Romney moved to the middle and phised off the Base, but that doesn’t matter either. What he did was WIN and showed himself to be a WINNER.
The good news is there are 30 days left, two more debates and this election is more about ideology than the who of it.
