Maverick and Goose are unavailable for comment, but the doctored footage from the movie "Top Gun" nearly passed as a demonstration depicting the capabilities of China’s new J-10 fighter jet, as shown on China’s state-run CCTV.
A Dec. 23rd newscast intended to depict the capabilities of China’s new fighter, proved to be a little too dramatic. The footage claims to show a combat squadron stationed in southern China during what was said to be a 24-hour training mission, and shows a jet shooting a guided missile at an enemy aircraft, and hitting targets on the ground, pretty impressive stuff, just as it was when Tom Cruise filmed it as "Maverick" in 1986!
Chinese fans of the movie "Top Gun" recognized the scene where Cruise’s F-14 fighter jet shoots and sends the F-5 jet down in flames, much like the credibility of the state run TV station.

Rack Jite Quotes
I can’t say that this is an entirely Chinese phenomenon, because there are some pushy anglo-American parents as well.
Having said that, I was talking to a Chinese friend about this. She emphatically agreed that the Tiger mothers are legion, and are making up for their own failure by pushing their children. I can see how children would see cheating as a means to an end.
Like I said previously, this is what Tiger Mothers produce. An entire population of people who can only reverse engineer and counterfeit. The Chinese have to do something about their lack of creativity. In classes I have taught (and my sister who teaches at community college) Chinese students do a lot of cheating. A LOT.
This is not a race thing. It is purely cultural. Ethnically Chinese students from Taiwan, Singapore, or Hong Kong don’t do this. It seems only students from mainland China cheat whenever they think they can get away with it.
The Chinese want in the US car market so bad, but have failed miserably every crash test ever conducted, that they spent billions on purcahsing Volvo for the sole purpose of co-opting their safety technology. Boeing sub contracts parts for their new 787 to Chinese companies who then build really shoddy compents that then have to be expensivly fixed by engineers stateside. Now they are producing their own passenger jet using stolen technology that Boeing stupidly gave them. You will never catch me flying a chinese jetliner unless I was suicidal.
