The good news is that Chris Rock and Kamau Bell seem to have worked through any ambiguity they might possibly have felt in the George Zimmerman case…Or the Trayvon Martin murder case if you prefer. Both shared a few thoughts as jury selection in the murder trial got underway this week. Naturally Kamau selected his dream jury too. The 12 lovers of justice included: an ‘Angry’ Bill Cosby, the ‘Fat’ Al Sharpton, rapper Chuck D and Four Versions of Samuel L. Jackson.
In a nod to Zimmerman’s defense team who feel that it is unfair to their client if “inflammatory” phrases like “vigilante” and “profiling” are used in opening statements. Kamau – whose tongue is not legally tied, offered his own description of the defendant: “George Zimmerman, you are a profiling, vigilante, racist, right-wing, trigger-happy, child-killing coward.” And that’s not all folks! Kamau has much more to say on this issue, and Chris Rock puts the cherry on top.
