Republicans are not in the pocket of the NRA but in the smelly skid marked underwear of the NRA – in every respect the ugliest political PAC I can think of.
Have you heard? Muslims are America’s greatest problem! Which is now proved true. Before Orlando it was 48 Right-wing American terrorists killing Americans compared to 43 Muslim terrorists killing Americans since 911. Orlando upped the score to 94 Muslims versus only 48 Right-wingers. This must mean that right-wingers are the second biggest problem in America.
So our greatest problem is not Global Warming, fouling the ground water, dying oceans or the 170,000 gun deaths per year, but rather 94 Americans killed by Muslims in the past 15 years. Muslim terrorists kill more Muslims than that a day in and around the Middle East.
With 10 million assault rifles sold in the past ten years and with the news that after Orlando assault rifle sales increased some 300% one has to ask what do these gun enthusiasts want them for?
Are they for shooting down commercial airliners full of terrorists?
Are they for shooting terrorists at random intersections?
Are they for shooting terrorists in restaurants, clubs, bars, churches, stores and workplaces?
Are they for shooting terrorists dropping bomb filled backpacks in crowds?
I did hear the answer to that just the other day from a Republican NRA spox.
Assault rifles with 40 to 100 round magazines are needed for when large groups of men, black or Mexican, come bursting into your home in a home invasion. That’s pretty much it. Oh and they have to buy as much guns and ammo as they can afford for when like all former presidents, Carter, Clinton and Obama, Hillary take their guns away.
Fear, paranoia and our gun culture make people dumber than they already are.
