Donald Trump astonished those attending The National Prayer Breakfast,by throwing shade on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ratings as the new host of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice.’ It is safe to say that this was a first for the annual Washington D.C. event, which is hosted by the Fellowship Foundation.
Each year the President leads an inspiring prayer for the nation and perhaps says a few prepared words. Trump – always true to himself, dispensed with the accepted format, instead, giving a meandering rendition of ‘How Great I Art.’ Trump rambling – in a subdued ‘prayer voice’ bragged about the astronomical ratings he brought to the show. He then let it be known that thanks to “a big, big Hollywood movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger” the ratings are basically in the toilet. Trump justified his airing of grudges with a segue “I’d like to say a prayer for Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
Schwarzenegger was quick to reply, and offer Trump a deal…In which everyone wins. See if you agree that oddly, The Terminator has never seemed like a better option.

Cynicism has no visible place at the Prayer Breakfast, but I can’t help but wonder if D.Trump isn’t using the ‘fake news’ media to distract us from his two weeks of terror? Surely a nation will turn toward Celebrity Apprentice ratings instead of – well, I could list it – but chances are you already know as much of it as you can tolerate at the moment. We might be able to make an exception for a German born President, and swap him with a Russian-led puppet?
