Susie Sampson hit the streets to talk with everyday Americans about the presidential race- and we’re in trouble! Exhibit A: This Trump fan proved once and for all that advertising and bragging really work. Asked why he wants to see Trump elected, he replied – in part, “because he’s a winner.” Apparently we’re due for “something different” and “something that works” vaguely. The way it will ‘work’ remains a mystery. Exhibit B is more disheartening yet. This one proved to be a misogynist. a racist, and proof positive that polls showing Trump’s fans to be less educated are absolutely correct.
Yet another man claimed that Ben Carson ‘Thinks things out before he talks.’ This comment led me to wonder if I’m on the wrong wave length, because the message appears to be scrambled. I’m relieved to say, there’s no need to fiddle with the dial, because when Susie informed the man that fact-checkers have proven Carson to be wrong – the man replied, “Facts don’t have to be right.”
And I – have nothing more to add.
