Much of the progress we’ve made as a country has come about because of protest – against taxation, to allow women to vote and own property, for civil rights, for sexual equality, and a moratorium on beets in the elementary school lunchroom.
Trump’s NFL war is NOT going to be easy for Trump’s faithful followers, in fact it may be the ultimate test of their resolve. The Trumpedians accept that they aren’t allowed to watch CNN, MSNBC and SNL. They cannot subscribe to most newspapers, or shop at Nordstrom, T.J.Maxx or Starbucks (horrors!). Loyal Trump supporters are not even allowed to listen to musicians because the ‘elite’ have spoken out against Trump. But now football is verboten too? Jim sums up the plight of Trump’s followers:
