This historic first solo press conference might be the time to smooth the rocky relationship between the Trump administration and the press, establish a respectful give and take and set off again on the right foot. WhooHoo! I slipped into an alternative reality again, but I’m back in the land of alternative facts. In truth, Trump ranted incoherently and put all of the blame for his three weeks of buffoonery squarely on the press! The press is out of control, and it’s “ALL FAKE NEWS!” Lest you wonder, Trump emphatically stated”I’M NOT RANTING and RAVING!” Seth is put in mind of FDR’s beloved Fireside Meltdowns.
Russia is showing a great deal of military aggression, with subs 30 miles off of our shores, flyovers, and missile launches…And it’s all in the spirit of fun between friends,apparently. Trump is loathe to condemn the actions, instead resorting to hyperbole.“The greatest thing I could do is shoot that ship out of the water….everybody would say oh that’s so great!”
Seth: “Nobody’s going to say that. The only way they’re say it is if the Russian hooker tape is on Netflix this weekend.”
For those who worry that these four years will fly by too quickly, take heart! The first of Trump’s official campaign rallies will be held this weekend in Florida. He truly is the dog who caught the car…He doesn’t have a clue what to do with it, but he’s ready to chase it again and again.
