Would Obamacare by any other name smell as bad?
Well there you have it. It’s fking good for most and fking bad for some. The Most seem to be Democrats and the the Some Republicans.
The answer to this is quite simple. Change the word from “65” to “ALL” in the Medicare Act with a payroll tax to pay for it. It would solve the deficit, the debt, the economy the uninsured and most importantly, finally bring the United States into the civilized world.
A recent poll showed that 56% of Republicans want to help share the cost to pay for the poor and uninsured. But when you put the name OBAMA in front of it goes down to less than 20%.
I just read an article from a moderate source that claims the Tea Party’s visceral all consuming hatred of President Obama is not about racism because they also hate Mexicans, immigrants, Asians, Indians and Homos just as much. It was a serious article.
I just came off TMZ reading the comments on Duck Dynasty. Not only are over 90% of the comments in defense of Phil Roberson and filled with ugly attacks on “queers,” but such comments got 80% LIKES and comments against bigotry and racism got 80% HATES. Go figure the TMZ audience. But then I went to a few other regular kind of websites to find the same results.
It is much like the problem the GOP leadership has with the Tea Party. They may be few in number but they hate a lot of things and a lot of people very very much. From the hollers of Alabama to the pig farms of Iowa, from the Arizona border to the all white gay free towns of Pennsylvania they will be heard. Not only heard but engaged to support, send money, agitate, activate for the most disgusting intolerant bigots, racists and creepy crawlers the world has ever known.
