Why is it that the uglier an American is, the more and bigger flags they have? I wonder why after so many decades of having Republicans push the flag desecration amendment each year they seem to have let it go of late? Perhaps they have come to understand that waving that flag in respect of so much ugly right-wing swill is in itself “desecration.”
I no longer fly a flag even on 4th of July because of what it has come to represent in our politics. The uglier an American is the more flags they have.
Let me ask you…
The President should be impeached because:
a) He has subjected us to fewer executive orders than either Ronald Reagan or W. Bush.
b) He is an uppity Negro.
c) He keeps saying “It’s the right thing to do.”
d) Iran, Iraq, Gaza, Syria, Ukraine, Putin and immigration are all his fault.
Looking at the content of Republican policy, I am thinking more and more that perhaps C trumps B. For after all, there is nothing that phises Republicans off more than having some kindly, bleeding heart liberal lecturing them about doing the right thing. It’s an intellectual form of political correctness.
