UNEDITED: Chris Wallace Fox News Sunday with Jon Stewart, june 19 2011

You know Jon Stewart singing the praises of the Fair and Balanced Chris Wallace misses something. Fox News Sunday is not on the Fox News Channel which is what this is all about.

I would also like to add that what Chris Wallace does here was the impetus for this website 16 years ago. That for some reason, the Right can dish it out as hard as they wish, but the Left is not allowed to do the same. I refuse to accept that.

The real issue here is how Fox News and refuses to tell the truth about itself. For a decade the Fox News theme has been FAIR and BALANCED. Not only is dishonest, untrue, a bald faced lie, it is in fact the direct opposite of the truth. Fox News in an extension of the GOP propaganda machine. That is it’s purpose. That is what it is. To deny it is to play semantic bullcrap.

Fox New has nothing in common with the NYT, or Comedy Central, or CNN, or ABC. Those media sources have an agenda of giving the most people what they want to hear to gain share. The politics moves with the times. The lame stream media has departments of NO BIAS, Fox News entire existence is to present a Republican conservative bias on everything.

I have my issues with Jon Stewart. His work in destroying CROSSFIRE on CNN. The best political half hour on TV. Both sides of each topical issue presented intelligently and passionately by the best each side had to offer. Yelling and screaming he called it. Well that’s what politics is.

I also agree that it is a cop out for him to claim "I am only a comedian." Just like Rush Limbaugh does.

I also disagree with him that Republicans are unjustly accused of homophobia, bigotry and racism.  But I do agree with him that those truthful accusations are the driving force that makes them so angry they will vote against their own self interest in most everything just to get their licks in on a liberal.

We should take note of what the next president of the United States, Governor Rick Perry of Texas, said this weekend in New Orleans. "The Left is Never Going To Like Us, So Let’s Stop Trying To Curry Favor With Them."  Double down on our religious intolerance, our selfish self serving economic issues, our Southern bigotry and racism, and above all, celebrate our exceptional ignorance in all matters.
