The Young Conservatives of Texas – University of Texas division – have come up with an even more disgusting UT campus event than last Summer when they hosted the Affirmative Action Bake Sale. In that they set up tables full of baked goods around campus priced by how much negroid blood one had in them. I little insight into what Texas Republicans are about.
This time it’s a game called Catch the Illegal Immigrant. A game in which they send out SEVERAL OF THEIR YCT MEMBERS with signs around their necks with the word ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT on it. They give a $25 gift certificate to students who grab them and drag them over to their Republican YCT booth. I have only one thing to add to this disgusting crap.

The man in charge of this uniquely Texas racism is Lorenzo Garcia who was recently a paid staffer for Greg Abbott who is set to become our next governor. Well unless Democrat Wendy Davis beats him. But when even young Texans are playing these ugly games you can well imagine how that election will go. 43% of Texans voted for President Obama twice. This is about the same spread in Texas State wide elections. Purple is about 18 points away. A long way off.
What’s not to love about Greg Abbott? Not only does he kill lots of animals from his wheelchair and a rabid defender of the NRA, but since he became Texas Attorney General in 2003 he has been the loudest voice in Texas AGAINST the 1990 Disability Act giving those in wheelchairs access. Oh, and he is also a big backer of TORT REFORM to trial lawyers from getting all that big money in medical lawsuits. He and his trial lawyers got $6 million from the car accident that put him in the wheelchair.
So Texas being what it is, Wendy Davis is already toast. Even using Democrat Ann Richards’ trick to squeak by to get elected governor in 1994 won’t work. Ann Richards managed to get her picture put on the front pages of most Texas newspapers just before the election with a shotgun over her shoulder and and a dozen bloody dead doves draped around her neck. And besides, Wendy Davis is on the ticket because of her brave stand to give the women of Texas the freedom, liberty and choice over their own reproductive rights. So as I said, toast. But she is pretty which may be worth a couple points.
