Who knows what they wear under those habits, perhaps hankies were the easiest thing to remove and fling at the lithe, muscular acrobatic troupe, Fratelli Pelligrini. It admittedly is an odd moment when the troupe in tight-fitting trousers strip off their jackets and start to perform. I don’t know who arranges the entertainment at Vatican City, but if there is a vote-casting system, you can be sure the scantily clad boys will be back next year and the year after that!
