The King of Conspiracy is attempting to peddle the piddle that school kids are indoctrinated 24/7 by Washington in the form of the far-reaching liberal media, and by extension what they are taught in school. Yes folks, when you see your kids watching their laptops and cell-phones in rapt attention, they’re catching last night’s political news on one of the few existing middle of the road, read – ‘liberal’ news stations. If anything is more absurd than that vision, it’s the premise that the liberal message has made such inroads in a country where right wing, over-the-top nut
cases like Beck and Limbaugh are prevalent in all forms of media. Only in such a country could the Texas dumb-down of text-books be hailed, and welcomed by other states which are interested in diving into the anti-intellectual cess pool. In Beck-world, your young’uns would be home-schooled or privately educated by those with a right-wing axe to grind. Don’t worry, like Victoria Jackson, your children will be tutored well at home by Glenn Beck, with absolutely no political agenda at all! How about abolishing anti-American media driven by ratings hungry crazies instead? If Beck is saying this for effect, I am certain there are Teabaggers taking it quite literally.
