I just took a quick look at David Duke’s website. Not only is he a big backer of Rand Paul but also this rabid anti-Semitic, Neo Nazi and once KKK Grand Dragon is running for President in 2012 on "request from thousands of Tea Party members." BTW, like Glenn Beck, it is now Dr David Duke PhD
John Stossel has come out to defend Rand Paul’s distaste for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Public Accommodations Act of 1968. Though Rand himself must have had a call from some bigshot in the GOP telling him to shut up and get on TV today – including Good Morning America – to say he supports the Act, Rand claims THE MEDIA lied about him 24/7. He claims EVERYONE is lying about him saying he wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act. NO! Like all right-wing extremists who cannot defend their views through logic or reason, he has changed the premise. The media is saying that HE SAID he would not have voted for it in 1964, not that he would repeal now. Which makes Rand Paul a liar.
This will not be the end to Rand Paul’s troubles, his views on just about everything are just as nasty and disgusting as this is. He is missing the lesson of his father which is whenever asked something that requires an awful answer, smile amiably and say he would let the states sort it out as the constitution intended. The Civil War be damned!
John Stossel has been the far Right-wing Libertarian voice on TV for a 25 year stint on ABC 20/20 and now has his own show on FOX Financial Network.
The shout of Libertarians has always been "Liberty for me and screw you." Which the Ron and Rand Paul family have foully incorporated into evangelical Christianity. That’s taking their world view down form a happy Mad Max movie where we all shoot it on a daily basis out for our piece of the pie into political and personal sleaze.
All three of these Looneytarians need a good whack upside the head but SO FAR only John Stossel has been on the receiving end.
Whenever I have seen John Stossel do his extreme right-wing swill on TV I am taken back 25 years to this enjoyable clip of pre comeuppance.
Stossel sued and won half a million dollars in denying Wrestler David Schults his LIBERTY of free "hand" speech and his LIBERTY to make a living by having him fired. But we all have to thank John for letting us know that professional wrestling is fake! Who woulda guessed hey? Lots of thought and research must have gone into that hey?
