video Free health fair, another success shows need for health care reform

As mentioned earlier, is it more important for major news media to follow Glenn Beck around for his crazy mumblings,or to show what life-saving and life-changing things can be and are being accomplished one clinic at a time? Nicole Lamoureau, the executive director of the National association of free clinics gives an eye-opening interview!

Some people’s lives were saved due to having serious health problems diagnosed at the clinics. More common are approximately 83% who use free clinics and are (unlike tea party propaganda), EMPLOYED but can’t afford health care..the woman featured, works for a HEALTH CARE COMPANY, yet cannot afford to cover herself or her children. Yes, these health care companies are the ones helping to hold the process behind, as they stick more wads of cash into their pockets.

There is no provision for the clinics in the house of senate bills. Lamoureau said that if they can be named as an essential provider, it will only help strengthen the current medical providers, and help the 8 million we’re seeing right now. Next stop is Kansas City, which will be bigger with mental health and dental screenings as well. Volunteers, anyone? Click www.freeclinics.us, they can always use someone.
