Video Game Watchers Mad at Jimmy Kimmel, Send Mean Tweets

Jimmy Kimmel  responds to the mob o’ gamers who got extremely angry at him after he joked about YouTube Gaming, a new YouTube platform on which people can watch other people play video games.  Kimmel reaped a whirlwind of rage from an awe-inspiring number of people who want him and his family dead, and say so while utilizing a creative assortment of language skills.

Watching others play video games is not the boring activity one first imagines – apparently.  Streamers maintain that watching others play is highly entertaining, and that Jimmy should have tried it before joking.  I guess so. From the threats, one might imply that hours of killing and maiming DO cause children to become violent – ‘One’ might, but I’M not going there. Nope. One could also say it is a cathartic release, and in that way, inspires peace. See? No hate tweets, please.

Jimmy hopes  to make amends by accepting an invitation by a viewer to spend time at their home streaming, and learning why the activity inspires such intense loyalty.  He may eventually be able to fire his bodyguards, we’ll see.
