Tonight’s guest was Jon Meacham editor of Newsweek who announced the weekly magazine would be sold.
I had been a subscriber to Newsweek for many many years suffering George Will as their most prolific opinion writer. Though that was before Obama became President which caused George to become just another Obama hating right-wing lunatic like his two Neocon pals Little Billy Kristol and Lipless Charles Kruthhammer. The three top conservative columnists these days are all Obama despising Neocons (empire through war).
I also have to admit I kind of enjoyed reading Will’s Newsweek piece on his visceral hatred of Seat Belt Laws. Though he did make up for that by his famous Newsweek two parter advocating everyone carry an assault rifle everywhere they go.
Hell, I even survived Newsweek hiring Karl Rove a few years back to help fill their pages with even more conservative swill. But a few months ago I was forced to hand write them a letter telling them to stop my decades long subscription which they could shove where the sun doan shine.
It was a Newsweek piece that listed the 10 most criminal murderous leaders of the 20th Century with Che Guevara next to Pol Pot. That dishonest slap in the face to half a billion Hispanics went over the top for me.
You know I also sent a few hand written notes to CNN over the past few years complaining about Lou Dobbs and they finally fired his ugly ass. So I guess I must take credit for that, and now this too! I am very very powerful! So watch yourself around here!
