Republicans who so righteously wave The Constitution around are now on a mission to tear it up. Not the whole thing mind you, just the parts they don’t like. At the top of that list is the 14th Amendment. You know, THAT ONE that gives everyone born here "equal protection" under the law. That includes African Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, gays, Democrats and everyone with a funny sounding name.
This insanity isn’t about silly people on the edge of reality like Rand Paul, Sharon Angle, Glenn Beck and Basil Marceaux. No, this is from the Republican Party leadership including scores of U.S Congressman and Senators such as John McCain, Lindsay Graham and Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell.
Why do Republicans keep doing this crazyass crap of searching out the smallest, weakest, poorest in our society to stomp on? Are they nuts? And the bottom line? They dislike HISPANICS so much, they are willing to change the United States Constitution to get rid of them.

Sadly, saying it only makes matters worse as these kind of people dig in deeper as we have seen of late. Republican leadership is not stupid, though they will never ever admit it, they know damn well that most Americans will crawl through a blizzard to get to the polls to vote against who or whatever might benefit a Black, Hispanic, Muslim and now babies. And they will win in November because that is what we are.
I know it, you know it, the media knows it, every Republican knows it and President Obama knows that any discussion of immigration or race in this country will lose him and Democrats elections. So please, shhhhhh….
